Professional Carpet Cleaning

Service Overview

Our Professional Carpet Cleaning service includes pre-vacuum carpet, pre-treat spots, steam clean carpet wall to wall, and we will also deodorize the carpet which consists of a complimentary fresh fragrance included in the carpet cleaning procedure.

Our pre-vacuum will take care of dust and debris, whereas the professional carpet cleaning will remove mold and bacteria.

The industrial equipment used in our professional carpet cleaning allow us to properly wash the carpet fibers deeply -- it doesn’t just wash off the surface, it cleans the entire pad. We deep-down rinse the carpet fiber without removing it from its place and that takes care of removing soil, spots, odors and allergens.

To perform our professional carpet cleaning we dispose of unique equipment and tools that are handled by certified and licensed professionals. This equipment is not a conventional type of equipment and there is a high level of expertise involved to use different set of products for different kinds of carpet treatment such as odor treatment, enzyme treatment, topical treatment, etc. These special treatments take care of major spills or pet urine and can achieve wonders to your carpet areas.

Here are some of the special treatments we offer to professionally restore your carpet to like new state:

Odor Treatment

Enzyme treatment are used to deal with odors caused by bacteria. By killing the bacteria causing the odor, you eliminate the odor. With urine contamination it is possible to have a secondary bacterial growth which can contribute greatly to the odor problem. Most anti-microbial treatments leave a residue that continues to work against the contamination for some time. This may be a negative for those who have chemical sensitivity.

Oxidizers can be effective for all kinds of organic odors, but also odors caused by microbial organisms. Oxidizers work by transferring oxygen to the odor causing substance, which essentially burns up the odor causing molecule, thereby eliminating the odor. Oxidizers are environmentally friendly and may be preferred by those who are chemically sensitive.

Some deodorizers work by masking the offending odor molecules. They don’t really change them chemically, they don’t neutralize them and they have no effect on the living organism that may be producing the odor. Pairing, or masking agents, capture the offending odor molecule and simply hide it from your nose temporarily.

We also use a good scent to mask a bad scent. The scent come in many different options: vanilla, peppermint, cherry, lemon, etc. These are the least expensive of the deodorizers. They temporarily replace an undesirable scent with a more desirable scent.

Enzyme Treatment

Spots and problem areas are pre-treated prior to the cleaning process. Spots that are not removed by the cleaning process are re-treated and cleaned a second, and in some cases a third time. A spot that remains after the second or third attempt to remove it with the cleaning process is a stain. Some stains may be removed by using specialized stain removal procedures.

Stains most commonly occur when something is spilled on the carpet which contains dye, soaking into the carpet fibers. A few examples are:

- Big Red Soda
- Grape Juice
- Red Wine
- Mustard
- Lipstick

The presence of acid in the spill. If your pet or child throws up on the carpet there is sure to be plenty of acid present in the spill, which could cause staining.

Bleach Chlorine bleach will create permanent stains by removing the dye from the area it is spilled on. This is especially true on nylon carpet. Other fibers like polyester or acrylic may not be affected by bleach.

Finest Cleaning Services' technicians are experts in stain removal. The specific removal procedure for a given stain is determined by the nature of the stain. If you know what caused the stain, that information could be helpful to your technician in determining the exact procedures to use in the removal process. Some stains may be removed with very little effort, however other stains may require more time. Due to the additional time required to remove these type stains, an extra charge may be incurred.

Although many stains can be removed, some stains may be permanent. If the stain is permanent and cannot be removed, using a 'bonded insert' may be the solution of getting rid of the stain.

Carpet Repair

Your carpet takes a beating from foot traffic, pets and life in general. Eventually, wear and tear may become obvious. Permanent stains, wrinkles, and separating seams don’t have to mean replacement. Finest Cleaning Services offers expert carpet repair services to keep your carpet looking great.

Re-Stretching

If looking across the carpet in your living room reminds you of looking at the waves rolling in on the beach, then you may need to re-stretch your carpet. The proper way to stretch the carpet between two walls is to use a power stretcher. Skipping this step in the original installation will likely lead to wrinkles in the future. It may look bad, but it’s repairable. When stretched properly, it should stay for years.

Seam Repair

Perhaps your dog tried his best to open the door by pawing at the carpet underneath it? Or you were moving furniture and the carpet tore. The result is now a separated seam. Fortunately, in many cases, you don't have to replace the whole carpet. We can restore it back to like new in most cases.

Stain Removal

Our cleaning process includes pre-treatment of all spots and stains prior to cleaning. This generally removes most of the problems. However, some things can create permanent stains which can’t be removed by the normal cleaning process, especially spills from liquids containing dyes, acids or bleach. Even pet urine can create permanent stains that cannot be removed by cleaning.

Carpet Patching

For cigarette burns, permanent stains that cannot be removed, or perhaps an area of the carpet that has been damaged, we have a solution; patch it. Our experts can remove the damaged area and replace it with a “bonded insert” from another piece of the same carpet.

Color Repair

Although we don’t offer carpet dyeing as a service, Finest Cleaning Services can provide color repair for small areas where color loss is a problem, such as sun fading and bleach spots.

Carpet Pad Replacement

If your carpet cushion has lost its support, or if your family pet has had one too many accidents on your carpet, our experts can replace the padding underneath.

Water Damage Repair

Just because your carpet has been submerged in water because of a flood doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ruined, provided the water is not black or gray water. Prompt action is important when floods occur, but in most cases, Finest Cleaning Services can save the carpet and restore it to a fresh and clean “like new” condition.

*Note: some of these treatments may require an initial assessment from our carpet technicians. Such assessment can be performed at the day of the appointment.
